NYC Sept 2nd – After a four year hiatus, Photon makes its triumphant return. The full a/v experience curated by Ben Klock is an exploration of the monochromatic elegance of white light in riveting interplay with cutting edge techno. Working in collaboration with Berghain lighting designer Lars Murasch and visual artist Xaver Hirsch, Klock has invited a group of Photon regulars and Klockworks affiliates representing the vanguard of modern techno: FJAAK, Stef Mendesidis and Volvox are joined by Washington DC’s Juana. Using a custom lighting installation, Photon transforms Knockdown Center’s Main Hall into a brilliant, shifting web of light.
Danny Tenaglia makes his DJing debut at The Ruins at Knockdown Center. Worldwide demand for Danny is at an all-time high, but of course Danny always makes time for his hometown NYC. For this special summer daytime appearance, Danny has brought dance music icon Cevin Fisher on for support. The two recently collaborated on one of this summer’s buzziest releases “Move That Body.”
