Hot Honey Sundays closes its season at the Ruins with one last blowout.
The Ali Forney Center proudly presents SERVE, a dance-a-thon to fight food insecurity among homeless LGBTQ+ youth that culminates with a dance party through the decades on November 12th, 2023. This all-day event will bring together the magic of nightlife, dancing, music, and food while embracing the spirit of queer culture and celebrating the unyielding strength of a community that stands together.
Hosted by the renowned Ali Forney Center, a trailblazing organization dedicated to saving and empowering the lives of LGBTQ+ youth, SERVE is more than just a dance party; it’s a testament to the power of solidarity and the commitment to ensure that no LGBTQ+ youth have to face homelessness alone.
Building on the success of last year’s “We are Family” dance-a-thon, which raised $500K, the Ali Forney Center aims to double its impact with this year’s SERVE with a $1M fundraising goal. All funds raised through SERVE will directly support the AFC’s year-round meal program ahead of the holiday season, a time that can feel especially lonely for many.
