Genius IQ/BBQ with Clipse

Genius’ IQ/BBQ returns to celebrate the 50th anniversary of hip-hop with the iconic Virginia Beach sibling duo Clipse, aka Pusha T and Malice, as headliners.
Presented in partnership with INFINITI, Paco Rabanne, PATRÓN EL ALTO, and Showtime Original Series The Chi, the all-day experience takes place on Saturday, August 19, from noon to 10pm at the Knockdown Center in Queens, N.Y. It will feature live performances from the hottest names in hip-hop and DJ sets to keep the party going.More than just a concert, this immersive event will also include delicious lyric-inspired dishes from NYC food trucks, a celebration of 50 years of lyrics, and activations from some of today’s biggest brands.Tickets are free and first come, first serve. This year the legendary DIY music fest ELECTRONICON is back with their most ambitious lineup to date featuring two days of music at Knockdown Center in Queens, NY on Friday August 25th and Saturday August 26th. Featuring performances by George Clanton, Doss, RXK Nephew, James Ferraro, death’s dynamic shroud and many more.
This year will be the first time ElectroniCON has expanded to be a two day festival, featuring both indoor and outdoor stages, as well as a few exciting new interactive experiences. With humble beginnings in 2019 as the first “vaporwave” music festival, ElectroniCON has unexpectedly attracted an expanding audience of people interested in its unique curation of both iconic and fringe electronic artists.
