Desert Hearts has grown to symbolize the best in house and techno, celebrating love, life, and music, its ethos champions acceptance and creativity. Standing as the West Coast’s house and techno emblem, their immersive, intimate gatherings have transformed the West Coast house and techno scene like their recent festival at the legendary LA Memorial Coliseum which featured Justin Martin, Miss Monique, Tini Gessler, Eskuche, Gene Farris, DJ Minx, DJ Holographic and more.

Playing Robots Into Heaven follows the critically acclaimed Friends That Break Your Heart – James’ highest charting album in the UK to date – and will see James once again return to the electronic roots of his Hessle, Hemlock and R&S records days. It will also nod to his latest creation, the CMYK event series with Rhonda INTL which kicked off in LA last March and will be coming to London on July 6th. To mark the release of Playing Robots Into Heaven, James will be embarking on a headline international tour, with dates in the UK, Europe and North America.

NYC Sept 2nd – After a four year hiatus, Photon makes its triumphant return. The full a/v experience curated by Ben Klock is an exploration of the monochromatic elegance of white light in riveting interplay with cutting edge techno. Working in collaboration with Berghain lighting designer Lars Murasch and visual artist Xaver Hirsch, Klock has invited a group of Photon regulars and Klockworks affiliates representing the vanguard of modern techno: FJAAK, Stef Mendesidis and Volvox are joined by Washington DC’s Juana. Using a custom lighting installation, Photon transforms Knockdown Center’s Main Hall into a brilliant, shifting web of light.
