Taking place in the unique arts space of the Knockdown Center from May 13th – May 15th, with an exclusive pre-party at Saint Vitus Bar on May 12th. Desertfest are firmly planting their feet back into New York’s underbelly with a mammoth line-up celebrating the very best of heavy music. Welcoming home-grown talent such as BARONESS, CORROSION OF CONFORMITY & TORCHE alongside acts from across the pond like Greek groovers PLANET OF ZEUS & a debut US performance for English doom maestros GREEN LUNG, Desertfest NYC are pushing their second edition to new levels.

Over the past five years, the Desert Hearts Family has found itself at the center of a dusty movement, fostering intimate experiences of sonic joy and unbounded love across the globe. Part boutique festival, part record label, and part globetrotting party brigade, this ragtag crew of dreamers has emerged as a vibe-focused force radiating a conscious ethos of House, Techno and Love.

Kerri Chandler has been injecting soul into dance music since the early nineties, making him one of house music’s originators. He is a house legend, icon, inspiration, key figure, and a true house music purveyor.

Chez Damier has played close witness to many of the pivotal moments in the history of house and techno. A legendary figure in electronic music, his work with Ron Trent on Prescription has come to nearly define an era in club music.
